Hello Curt and Sandra, wonderful seeing you both again after a long, long time. (you are looking great!!!) I appreciate your thoughts. Kuby and I are focusing on the Thanksgiving at the moment, the story of the first pilgrims and reminding ourselves daily what we are thankful for. Last year we had a few tree branches in a vase and every morning after breakfast, each of us has written little card what we are thankful for that day and we put the card on a string and hung the cards each day on the branches, so it was our little Thankful tree. It was great giving out our little blank cards to anyone who has visited for them to write what they are thankful for. We are also getting ready for the Advent season. Last year we used wonderful daily cards - "Names of Jesus" that were posted and shared by another homeschooling mom, and we will continue in doing the same this year again along with number of other activities we enjoyed last year. Kuby can color the little cards, there is a thought of what Jesus is for us for each day and a scripture to go with it. By the time it was Christmas we had a garland of little cards hanging on the kitchen wall, great daily reminder. I definitely look forward to your next video and looking forward to your book!! Wishing you both wonderful days ahead... may each day bring you little joys! Much love, Jana and Kuby
Love it! Look forward to the next one.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Kate. We're excited by the process even though the learning curve is steep. :-)
